IF the Jan window was anything to go by I doubt that many clubs have many to spend. It could be a very quiet summer.

Whereas the money coming from as the figure must now be around the £150m mark? Even if it was ring fenced that’s still another £50m needed.

The truth sits somewhere between the two views. good players yes but brilliant … I think not. Oh and using being picked by Southgate to play for England as some sort of approval of brilliance is quite frankly bollocks. I give you Maguire, Mings et al … Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hmmm someone appears not to understand the meaning of squandered. We have not wasted £300M as it was invested in: 1. New stadium with subsequent upgrades 2. New training facility for first team, womens and academy players 3. Investing heavily in 1st team, womens and academy teams On the...

I would like to think so. When you look at benches last season many teams only had three or four players at most that could make a difference, the rest were window dressing. The additions to our squad will mean we have at least 5 players on the bench who can make a difference, even with injuries...

True but moving to 5 subs changes the dynamics of the 25 man squad. With 3 subs you could get by with 18/19, 5 subs means you need 21/22. You need at least another 4 Eze’s and Olise just to hang on. Loosing zaha without a similar replacement is going to hurt, as is not having a replacement for...

They remind me of Huddersfield in their first prem season. Loads of press, diving in and generally running around like lunatics. Unfortunately very fragile at the back and you can’t play like that for 90 minutes nor a whole season. Wonderful!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
