Just finished the second Richard Osmon book. Much like the first, good mix of puzzle/murder to solve and some great characters and laughs.
Started 23 Things They don't you about capitalism by Ha Joon Chang based on the Radio 4 programmes on his new book Edible Economics
Just finished How Bad Are Bananas? The Carbon Footprint of Everything by Mike Berners-Lee
Very interesting, depressing but with some good lessons and ideas
I got the Craig Brown book based on some great reviews and Shaun Keaveny raving about it. I've almost finished it, not sure what I think. Some of it is very interesting, lots gets lost in technical stuff without really telling you anything and then other bits are things like blaming the Beatles...
I'm just finishing Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall. Very interesting but easy to read guide to Geopolitics and how despite improvements in technology, Geography still plays such a massive impact on economics, trade, politics and war
I've read a few of his and they're very good and easy to read. Bbc4 are showing a few of his docs this week at 9pm- Operation Mincemeat and the Double Agent one

I've just finished Hatchet Job by Mark Kermode. Not as good as his previous but still very enjoyable with lots of good anecdotes, and stories about film-making and a good piece about what film criticism is nowadays
