What about Just Bananas? I don't like to moan about my hometown, but I do wish someone would do something with the old PO. The last time I was in there, Chris O'Grady played for us (he was in front of me in the queue!

The Black Rabbit in Arundel... Other clues of 'Vote [someone]' on the Kit-Kat ad (I googled old KitKat ads, but nothing came up) and Bukta advertising also have me leaning towards 1979.

Any idea why it shifted from North Street to Dyke Road – and when?

Yep. Let's be honest here, as much as we might all love the team with the same name, Brighton, on the whole, is a bit of a dump.

I've never set foot in there, but what's the upstairs used for? I'm guessing it's not like the restaurant, as per the old picture, but the windows are blacked out, so I'm guessing it's not housing/workplace either?

All those spare XXXL tops that are left over in the club shop are perfect for a 'really large fellow' :lolol:

Was just about to mention this. I remember in the mid-1990s going in to eat while watching stuff on the big screen. Haven't been in there for years, but I'm guessing it's not used for that anymore

I've never noticed what turns out to be Sussex Mews before. And I've driven along that road loads of times!

London Road is such a mess (I would say 'these days', but it's been pretty dire for about 30 years!).

This is one of the few sets of images on the thread that not only looks pretty much the same, but also has the same building occupying the same space. Bankers!
