It was only about 2/6 ( half a crown), and Potd, at the Florida, back in the day. ( A ticket was a kid that followed you around if you were a face, and an agent was a substance used in a chemical reaction.)

Ah, the moral high ground. A wonderful thing. So do share your insights into what actually happened.

Townshend was placed on the sex offenders register for five years in 2003, after admitting he had used his credit card to access a website bearing the message "click here for child porn" four years earlier. He accepted a caution (who would do that if they were innocent of such disgusting allegations ?) claimed he was 'researching a book' , course he was .

Happy now ?

I blame the internet, where have the good old days of queuing up outside the box office or postal applications gone. No pre-sale to particular card holders or tickets immediately appearing at inflated prices, and mostly fans got tickets as opposed to these days where some treat it as something to tick-off as a day out.

I fondly remember queuing for hours and hours to get a Who ticket for the Brighton Centre years ago.

Caught the Quadrophenia last time out, expect this one to be more of 'Sing-a-long-Who'

I remember that. It was overnight on a Saturday I think (80 or 81??). It pissed down and all we had for cover was a Union Flag

Finally got tickets at about 2.30 on the Sunday afternoon.

Ahh The Who.

Well its not really The Who is it. I mean there is only Roger Daltrey and "whens THE book out??" Pete "operation yewtree" Townshend left. The Ox and Keith Moon no longer with us. It should be more accurately "Pete and Rog sing songs from The Who".

Thats like Ringo and Paul getting together and saying we are "The Beatles" no it isnt.

Led Zep just about got away with it by having John Bonhams SON on drums at their o2 gig. But The Who? Nah.

Dull post
Writers are the band

Saw them two weeks ago along with Jeff Beck, Procol Harum and loads of others. Cost me a massive £20. I think I'll stick at that thanks rather than viagogo's £150

Yep, same as Bozza; I have an Amex card to earn air miles and get tickets for gigs such as this.

Which is why I have two tickets for the Who and a free flight to Florida whenever to see my mate. It really is worth it.
