Just done some digging via the Racing Post and the Owners ‘Two plus three two plus four’ have at least 3 horses with Hugo Palmer - The Flying Seagull (runs today) plus Seagulls Eleven and Seagolazo who are both entered up in September's Weatherbys 2yo Race.

Initial thoughts would be these might be the first runners for the new partnership of Tony Bloom and renowned punter Patrick Veitch that was reported earlier this year, but they were going to have horses in training with William Haggas, Andrew Balding and Ralph Beckett so the Hugo Palmer angle doesn't support this, so who knows?

Tony Bloom also has horses in partnership with Ian McAleavy (Head of Football at Star Lizard) They own last season's Gimcrack winner Lake Forest, along with The Reverend, Avoriaz and Kings Fountain.

Not necessarily related but Gilmour, Van Hecke and Milner all follow Manor House Stables on Instagram.

Hugo Palmer is based at Manor House Stables, where Gilmour visited.

Is Wee Billy riding it? He's about the right size for a jockey

Shortest price of Palmer's three entries in the 2.05 Chester. I presume Oisin Murphy would have had his pick of the three. Little bits in the market (6s from 7s).

Dam was a 5f winner (race today is over 6f) but granddam was an Irish 1,000 Guiness winner. So who knows?

Might be worth a little EW interest. Just in case. Never can tell with an unraced 2YO. 65K Euros as a yearling doesn't suggest she is going to be a world-beater but stranger things have happened.

Its owned by 10 of our squad plus Shane Duffy

Maybe big Shane could ride the horse to training next season, as it doesn't seem likely that he'll be driving.

Can report that no-one skipped training to see it make its debut.

He's a very nice type, well grown, relaxed in the prelims. Plenty of similar sorts in the race tho, could prove to be quite a decent heat.

Or if they did skip training, they're lying low in a box somewhere
