Fun rumours going around that they're interested in Kalvin Phillips, emphasised by Roy in a press conference earlier this week.

Poor old Kalvin: only a couple of years from being a key starter for England and earning a transfer to Man City, to being linked with Crystal Palace.
Thats roughly equivalent to being on the Board at John Lewis, to doing a part-time weekend shift behind the counter at a Subway in Wigan.

Meant to be a really nice bloke too - wouldn’t pass the dickhead policy to play there…

Can't help feeling like this is the end for Roy. Cooper is available, and they won't want to miss the boat there, especially not while the transfer window is open and a new manager would still have the chance, on paper, to get some reinforcements in. I doubt Hodgson's contract requires a vast sum of compensation if they sack him, so surely even they can't be worried about that. There's barely a single supportive voice to be heard on their social media channels now.

It's all very sad to think he might be going. I've so enjoyed his most recent spell in charge.

How have we only beaten them once in the last 9 games !
At the same time - they haven’t beaten us in 5… But yes we should have won pretty much all those 5.

Palace have been crap and boring in the past, including for most of Roy's previous tenure, but the one thing that kept them going was finishing above us, and typically beating us.

Now they're crap, they're boring, AND they're having to sit in their crumbling old stadium watching horrendous RoyBall while we finish sixth, playing in an eye wateringly good style at times, bringing through dazzling young stars, making millions and millions from transfers in the process, and enjoying jaunts around some of the hotspots of European football.

At least you've got your Famous Atmosphere though, eh chaps?

Mourinho is available, too.

Can’t understand how you’d go INTO a transfer window knowing manager is a busted flush. Shirley you’d have Potter in picking his team?

We should’ve won the game they beat us in as well after having 75% possession and 25 shots compared to their 3, and the game before that that ended 1-1 where their only touch in the box was the penalty following big Tazza Lamptey’s assault on Batshuayi.

It always feels like this to us, but since we’ve been in the prem they’ve beaten us 3 times in 14 games!

We’ve managed 4, including the cup. It always feels like they used to beat us more but they haven’t (despite having x hundred million head start and experience in the top flight of this latest era)
