Hayling Island might be worth looking at

Hayling Island is blighted by the fact that there is only one main road, a work colleague of mine spends 20 minutes commuting, 18 of which are queueing to get off the island. Double in the summer.

Emsworth and Drayton are good, Bedhampton and Waterlooville (which is where I live) are OK but as stated Havant itself is pretty grim. Leigh Park was (maybe still is?) the largest council estate in Europe.

A little further up the road you have Clanfield and Horndean, both of which are nice enough places.

Is the correct answer. Admittedly a few years back, but I had relatives who used to live in LP and I absolutely hated visiting them. Total shithole.
