I've just pulled this from the BBC website. The fould was timed at 52 secs
1:24 Sent off The referee sends off Neil Taylor for professional foul.
0:52 Free kick awarded for a foul by Neil Taylor on Lewis McGugan.
0:33 A cross is delivered by Chris Cohen, Ashley Williams makes a clearance.
0:00 The referee gets the game underway.

I'm sure he was technically right but as a football fan you have to wonder whether sometimes judgement and rule book aren't at odds to the disservice of the game

That 'tackle' should result in a red card no matter what game and no matter under what circumstances in happens.

It shouldn't matter what minute the foul is in, if it's a red card offence, then it's a red card. Simples.
