I'm struggling to understand the Colorado decision (if it stands) to keep him off that states ballot...Can you remain on the ballot in other states and still win the nomination....I thought the collegiate voting system was hard enough to get your head around...

The FBI said Friday that it is working to address threats against Colorado Supreme Court justices after the court deemed former President Donald Trump ineligible for the state's Republican primary ballot.

"The FBI is aware of the situation and working with local law enforcement," Vikki Migoya, a spokesperson for the FBI Denver Field Office, said in a statement. "We will vigorously pursue investigations of any threat or use of violence committed by someone who uses extremist views to justify their actions regardless of motivation."

The odd poll shows Trump ahead because they cherry pick who they ask. Most polls show Biden several points ahead.
Actually most polls when averaged out show Trump to be about neck and neck with Biden

Also posted above, most polls underestimate the percentage margin of error - Pew research suggests that it can be as high as 6% not the 3 or 4 % most polls claim

If people are worried about Biden's mental health, why aren't they worried about Trump's? He isn't much younger and equally as gaff prone when speaking.
Quite. But perhaps because Trump doesn’t look as physically frail - that’s the difference I think, it is certainly one that Trump is exploiting - although he seems to have lost that orange Floridian glow of his recently 😂

Trump looks ill. My father at dementia and Alzheimer’s and he had a particular look. Trump has had it on a number of occasions.

I sympathise, my nan had Alzheimer’s and know exactly what you’re talking about. For all the blasé attitude, there must be some stress around the court cases and that will accelerate things.

Fun fact, both Trump and Biden are older than Bill Clinton.

Nationalism will always play well when your people don’t feel like they’re winning. The Republican Party’s abandonment of Ukraine to Russian aggression is absolutely shameful however, and shows that Europe as a bloc needs to increase defence spending significantly, America is no longer a reliable partner in international relations.

A good reason for the other countries of the world to show how anti-Trump they are.

For the odd Trumpist on here - is there any actual evidence to back up what he's saying please?

Trumps an actor who knows how to ham it up a bit, yes there is evidence of Federal Organisations spying on innocents christians but to claim it is targeted because of faith is another step.

Incase you didn't know all this has happened before.

The Democrats kicked Abraham Lincoln of the ballot in 10 blue states in 1860, Democrat slave owning states. After the civil war it was almost 50 years until another Democrat was elected president. That was Woodrow Wilson who promptly jailed a socialist political rival who objected to him taking the USA into World War 1 as it breached the Monroe Doctrine.

You will find crooks do this sort of thing when they fear good men will come after them.

A conviction politician, do you remember them?

Quality,

"Your Honor, years ago I recognized my kinship with all living beings, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on earth. I said then, and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free."

Eugene Debs while in prison in northern Illinois:

I began to read and think and dissect the anatomy of the system in which workingmen, however organized, could be shattered and battered and splintered at a single stroke. The writings of [Edward] Bellamy and [Robert] Blatchford early appealed to me. The Cooperative Commonwealth of [Laurence] Gronlund also impressed me, but the writings of [Karl] Kautsky were so clear and conclusive that I readily grasped, not merely his argument, but also caught the spirit of his socialist utterance – and I thank him and all who helped me out of darkness into light.

A lot of the US was built by cooperative movements not state or corporations like the telephone systems. I think theres going to be big moves toward this again.

These tweets seems to lend support of your dementia theory - Trump seen standing on toepads to stop him leaning forward when public speaking/videos

And the response - suggesting he has frontal temporal dementia.
Could be:

“What are the first symptoms of FTD?

Some people have physical symptoms, such as tremors, muscle spasms or weakness, rigidity, poor coordination and/or balance, or difficulty swallowing. Psychiatric symptoms, such as hallucinations or delusions, also may occur, although these are not as common as behavioral and language changes.”
