Never noticed but as you mentioned it , yes I spot it in the map . It’s not exactly Long Island ! Mark King def is super talented not sure it’s fair to compare his talent with wet face , think they’re just chancers.
You watched the video then, chances is what I like about them. Great story of trying for years sperately and then getting together, doing something for fun and it blowing up. I like that about them.

Never a fan of level 42, so I would take Wet Leg over them.

What I like about listening to new music is jumping down a rabbit hole. Listening to Wet Leg has lead to to explore Momma and Kate Bollinger, going to jump further down the rabbit hole on my four hour drive today. Well sharing with some drum and bass and various house/dubstep etc from the boy.

Interesting article about why we stop exploring music and get stuck in the 'new music is shit' way of thinking. Also some tips on how to keep your interest in new music growing.

I'd pick

British Album - Young Fathers - Heavy Heavy
British Artist - Little Simz
British Group - Young Fathers
New Artist - Olivia Dean
Song of the Year - All Rubbish
International Artist - CMAT
International Group - Paramore
International Song - Vampire
Rock/Alternative Act - Young Fathers
Hip Hop/Grime Act - Casisdead
Dance Act - Barry Can't Swim
Pop Act - Charli XCX
R&B Act - Sault

Hopefully Young Fathers get the hat trick, I did also quite like the new Foo Fighters album thought it was a decent return to form.

Even as a self-confessed Swiftie I'd like to see CMAT win the International Artist Award over Taylor. I think the International Artist category is particularly strong and packed with very good artists. Might be worth tuning for one or two of these awards.

It's a tremendously competitive category, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if any of them won it but like you I'm backing CMAT with Olivia Rodrigo a close 2nd.

ugh surf for those curtains

For him to come out and try to trash talk me like that, do you know what?
