You should have a go at no limit or pot limit, if you're only playing pairs and Ace with a high kicker then you'd be better off having the option to gamble a bit more cash when you get a big hand, and go all in when you have the nuts. I get bored playing limit hold'em, it's just too predictable.

am still learning though!!

I played my first EVER game of poker last week, spent a few days trying to figure it all out on the play money tables until my free real money came through.

Has anyone had this bonus or how you get it?

I have no idea. Probably just because you're a nice guy.

We processed another round of payments yesterday. Earn 5 Party Points before the end of January to be entered into our $2,000 Freeroll on Friday, Febraury 16th at 7 p.m. London time.

 thanks  but i have not yet received it, says it is pending?

Hmmm...I would call Party Poker's support department. They're very good and you don't have to wait long to talk to a live person, which is nice.

i have the same thing on my account. i think you have to play with real money to get it. which would be hard for me unless i make a deposit, as i have withdrawn my 80 dollars today.

i wish i had played no limit holdem with my origional money though. as im great at winning play chips with no limit. :nono:

I have a $25 bonus, cant remember what was called, its for playing in the casino or bingo, you need to spend $250 to be able to drawout your winnings.

Edit: You dont need to put in any of your own money in though, but unless you can win regularly it probably wont last that long.

Sorry, Wokie, I was too busy trying to work out what I was doing at the time you posted and didn't look on here until I gave up having lost a very small amount on the thickoes table by about 1am.

I certainly discovered that it's worth spectating on a table before barging in, as some seemed to have some prety agressive bidders on them.

I need help.

I think I am developing a problem. I believe I am a good player, it's I just don't know when to call it a day.

Last night I was up all night playing poker until 1 today. I got up to 600 dollars and I kept pushing myself higher and higher and now I find myself down 120 quid.

I don;t want to stop playing, I just want help to deal with it better.

Just stop.

Simple really.

You've already identified it as a problem, which is a start.......

You're not a good player if you don't know when to quit. :nono:

Withdraw any funds in your account and un-install the software.

There is software you can install that will bar access to gambling sites - pop that on if you feel you need to.

Hello PFF. Do I need to register for the Freeroll or do I just turn up?

You'll need to register, but all that really amounts to is showing up beforehand. I believe registration is open 7 or 8 hours prior to the start of the tournament. It will be in the "Freerolls" section of Multi-Table Tournaments. I'll post the name once it's finalized with our Party Poker rep.

Cool, I'll be there. How many players do you expect?
