I've decided to re-read Gene Wolfe's "Book of the Long Sun", have raced through the first two volumes of one of the finest works of fiction I have ever read.
Unlikely to find his stuff in a book store unless it's a very good one. I'd try Amazon. The Book of the new Sun, the book of the long Sun, Fifth Head of Cerberus are particularly good, straddling sci fi and fantasy.

Amongst other things, some of which I have just got bored with.
I'm now reading "Leaving Alexandria", the autobiography of Richard Holloway, and "Ancient Light" by John Banville, truly one of the greatest living writers.
