Fair play and congratulations to Horsham tonight, the best team won comfortably 3-0 and well done for a great season. 4800+ crowd tonight too.

A beautiful spring afternoon at The Pilot Field for a Sussex derby between Hastings United v Whitehawk, with the visitors winning 1-0. Davide Rodari missing a 1st half sitter and going off injured didn't help matters for a lacklustre Hastings today.

The Pilot Field managed to beat the weather today but it was the U's beaten by the Rooks 3-1 in the Sussex derby. The picture below was just after Lewes took the lead. A rather questionable first half refereeing performance resulted in Hastings' Jack Dixon getting a very harsh yellow card just...

I didn't see himself when there but I saw elsewhere that Wee Billy Gilmour was in attendance yesterday. Mates with a few of the Kingstonian players who came through the youth ranks at Chelsea like him apparently.

South Yorkshire Police. Sheffield United and Doncaster are at home on Saturday and along with others things like it bonfire season they've cited issues with resources.

Budget has been cut by 50% this season apparently. 4 (I think) players gone this week. It's all unravelling now.

4th league defeat in a row for Hastings United today. They were pitiful and found themselves 0-3 down to Wingate & Finchley after 51 minutes. They rallied to make it 2-3 which is how it ended, but that was largely due to Davide Rodari. 941 in attendance.

Just about to head to the Pilot Field to see Hastings United v Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian Premier. The home team badly need a win today.

A 2-1 win for Lewes last night at Ascot United saw them through to the 3rd qualifying round. A reminder of all today's FA Cup ties involving Sussex sides: Sheppey United v Burgess Hill Town Eastbourne Borough v Worthing Steyning Town Community v Maidstone United Eastbourne United v Berkhamsted...

I was at a roasting hot Pilot Field this afternoon, but it was worth it to see Hastings United score twice in stoppage time to beat Haringey Borough 2-1 having been behind since before half time. Another impressive crowd of 1,183 in attendance. Hastings now up to 5th and just a point off top.
