    [Albion] Goodbye and good riddance

Not sure we did tbf. De Zerbi certainly over achieved brilliantly. It was agreed (and he'd have known it) that Ali Mac was going. Conceido was meant to stay but there's no way on earth our club could turn down such a ridiculous offer. Trossard downed tools, sadly. Mwepu was a shock, no ones...

[Albion] Roberto De Zerbi To Leave Albion After Tomorrow's Game

Are you new? Fans always have, and always will, moan and catastrophize :D

    [Other Sport] Fury vs Usyk

Oh come on, you have to allow a bit of that, it's the joy of sport! Or else you might as well sit in a room on your own all the time.

[Albion] Roberto De Zerbi To Leave Albion After Tomorrow's Game

That's not right though, he did well at RB Salzburg. I always liked him tbf, Anyway, back to wailing and teeth grinding.

[Albion] Roberto De Zerbi To Leave Albion After Tomorrow's Game

Every manager has a shelf life, Roberto reached his (quicker than I thought tbf) and he's gone. No bitterness from me. Thanks for the memories and.... ooh who's next?!!

[Albion] Something HAS to be done about the home atmosphere

My point was in relation to the acoustics of the stadium. When sat next to them they didn't sound that loud.

[Albion] Something HAS to be done about the home atmosphere

Was in the South Stand for the AEK Athens game and couldn't hear the away fans much at all tbf.

[Albion] Something HAS to be done about the home atmosphere

Why, oh why, do people get so angsty about this reoccuring issue?!! There is no "on" button for atmosphere. It's just a combination of several not-unusual factors. We are now more than ever a Southern town full of many non-Sussex born and breds, many of whom Brighton is still 2nd-club. We...

    [Film] James Caan

Does seem hard to get hold of. Yes, I checked out amazon/cex/ebay. It does seem usually to be region 0 which is region free, but a bit pricey. James Caan is always great imo, even enjoyed Honeymoon in Vegas! rip.

    [Film] James Caan

Still trying to find a copy of Slither, his 1973 movie, which apparently was a big influence on the Coen brothers. As they've done many of my favourite movies I thought I'd try it - anyone seen it?

[Football] Clubs to Vote on VAR removal

Pointless getting too excited by this vote as A/ not enough clubs will vote for VAR removal and B/ the Premier League won't want to go with it anyway as it'll discredit their brand (I believe the noddy Swedish league is the only "top" level league to say No to VAR?).

[Football] Clubs to Vote on VAR removal

I'd bin it off for next season at least. It should be worked on and perfected more before reimplemented.

[Football] Best game I've ever seen at tha Amex.

Ronaldo is probably the "greatest" player I've personally seen in the flesh so.... to see his team torn apart and him humiliated to the point of laughter, that has to be the "best" game I've been to at the Amex. Of course, Donny and the his-dog's-called-John brace game, Vicente's magic vs...

Hard to split them at the bookies. However, I hope Fury gets decked and finally goes away.

    [Music] Glastonbury 2024

Just done my back in with a simple twist (of fate) while moving seats on the top deck of the #12X, so that's that day dream shattered... 😥

    [Music] Glastonbury 2024

Tempted to litterpick again, as a "veteran" I can usually still get in. Not sure the old joints will stand up to it nowadays though. If I did I'd still be hanging around the circus cabaret comedy areas with the odd jaunt up to the Park. Lineup is a bit weak on bighitters but that's no negative...

[Music] Eurovision Song Contest 2024 ***Official Thread & Sweepstake**

I caught about half an hour of it, having not seen it for years. It was simply just like having a Eurotrash flashback from the 90s. edit - and tbh I was a bit bored by that. I preferred Eurotrash late night, on the edges of tv where it seemed a bit subversive now "this type of thing" is...
