I’m off to lingfield tomorrow with some family including two old ones.

Has anyone got any tips for parking and getting a seat?

I’m half expecting ridiculous queues at the bar, am I going to spend more time queuing than watching the racing?

If it’s busy it’s hard to get a drink. I stopped going to racing as the big avents seem to attract the wrong sort, yobs in suits and girls with little cloths on, The last time at lingfield it was a hot day mind but there were fights kicking off here and there, this was a evening though.

If that’s all they were wearing I’m not surprised there’s a big crowd!
I get your point though, I haven’t been for years. Last meeting I went to was the Ayr Gold Cup about ten years ago. I used to be quite keen, I went to the Arc about 5 years on the bounce in the 90s
