Quartet transfer-listed by Blades
Sheffield United have transfer-listed Steve Yates, Jean-Phillipe Javary, Iffy Onuora and Laurens Ten Heuvel in an attempt to bring in funds.
Blades manager Neil Warnock has alerted other clubs to the availability of the quartet and told the club's website: "I believe our squad is top heavy, particularly with strikers, and I'm looking to move them on because I still want to bring in other players."
Yates and Onuora only joined the Bramall Lane club last summer and struggled with injuries over the course of their first season.
Former QPR and Tranmere defender Yates, 33, made just 12 appearances in Division One while 35-year-old striker Onuora, formerly of Gillingham, scored once in seven league starts.
French journeyman Javary, now 25, was a reserve-team regular but featured just seven times in the first team and Dutch forward Ten Heuvel, 27, was a substitute on five occasions before having an unsuccessful loan spell at Bradford.
