Just had an email from UEFA, my application for tickets for Portugal was unsuccessful in the lottery. No doubt the tickets have gone to a corporate sponsor taking a chinless wonder to a match as part of their marketing budget.

BUT... my entry stuff for tomorrow's London 10k race has been lost in the post somewhere between my dad's place in Sussex and London. Post Office couldn't help, and the organisers don't have a contact number. Just f***ing great.

Nightmare. Waiting on that email myself from UEFA, and had believed there was every chance of getting at least some of the four games we've gone for.

El Pres, can I ask which city/grounds you applied for, I was under the impression that quite a few games were undersubscribed, and therefore prospects were rosier?

Best bet for any tournament is just to go along there and get some tickets on the black market.... be prepared to pay through the nose though

Applied for tickets for the quarter final at Faro/Loule. Thought I had a good chance as Portugal cannot feature in that game.

Can reapply for some group games on August 1st when they go on sale again
