I'm off work today and it's my first day's leave for nearly 4 months. Just bumped into my next door neighbour who is a PE teacher in a private school for junior kids.

That'll be because he works in a private school where the children are glorified robots unlike the proper teachers who work in the public sector with the shits of society and get paid poorly.

Can't complain though I break up for the summer in seven working days time! I'll spend it wondering why I don't teach in a private school.

if the programme 'teachers' is anything to go by, the p.e bloke in that is a lazy bastard and seems to be the average p.e teacher. he's also very funny!

I must be working in the wrong schools if Teachers is surprisingly accurate. And yes, sometimes teaching is money for old rope but no I don't go home at 4.00, if I do it's with 60 odd books. Yes big teacher cliche but trust me it's true.
