Mithras, Mill Road and the Race Course were announced at the Fans Forum. Which of these would the club recommend for fans driving from the East and approaching from the Lewes direction?

Getting to the race course would mean driving past the entrance to Falmer, parking at Mill Road means passing Brighton and then parking and Mithras would again mean passing the ground. All of these seem to suggest that people travelling from the Lewes direction will - in all cases - have to pass the ground to get to parking.

Is it possible that there will be park and ride in or near Lewes?

At the moment we do not have a park and ride for the A27 from the east. The difficulty is finding one that meets the criteria, i.e. it has to be big enough to cope and near enough to allow return journeys in a reasonable time (it is uneconomic to run a bus which cannot do two journey post match). We are still actively looking for sites. If anyone has any ideas, they should contact Richard Hebberd at the Project Office.

You don’t say where you are coming from to access the A27, but other options might be park and train (on the Lewes line) or if coming from an area near the coast, using the coast road to park at the racecourse.
