I have miraculously managed to edit the table when it came to jumping above @Curious Orange . Any advice on how to move a column and I'll do it more often. At the moment I insert a new column in runners new position, fill in all the rows along and the delete the original column. There must be a...
Must say it was a good turn out. Great to run by marshal's shouting "Up the Albion" and one even playing GOSBT on speaker.
I ran through the paces with heavy legs in a slow 26" and got up to speed in the last half mile.
Feeling injury free and will risk 800m in spikes at Lewes track Monday but...
Sad day for Brighton today with a great man deciding to leave tomorrow afternoon.
It is time for me to end my time as Brighton NSC Weakest Link Relay Gopher (I knew it was never Gaffer) so that the runners and I can continue to work in the way that suits each of us best, following our own ideas...
Well done @Bry Nylon you should let yourself known to the NSC Hove Park Parkrunners, if you're ever there. We'll give you loads of support. Until we get to know you better of course.
Like you my mojo is flying and I managed a club 1500m on Monday at Withdean for the first time in 22 months. It...
Bump this. I reckon we can get at least one team in June.
Bobkin, Willykins and knocky. Need more.....
Found myself having breakfast with @soistes on Friday at Saddlescombe. A ponytail (?) and now him being a Rogue Runner put me off the scent. I'll say hello next time! 👋
I'm coming with you! Sub 20 here we come.
Managed best Parkrun for 6 months and 2nd best in over a year with an easy 23:40 at Hove Park Saturday. Calf tightened again after 2.5 miles but it's better week by week.
Been treadmilling as calf survives on it. Calibration must be out as progressed...
Press the like button if you have any interest in the greatest NSC running event ever. Just an indicator not a full commitment yet. Be good to see some new faces. Open to all abilities.
Great marathon runs reported on here. 👏
I've had my regular spring calf issues as I attempt to step up pace BUT I think I've got to the bottom of it.
My non running muscles are VERY weak and non supportive.
I got in the gym for the first time in 10 years and it was a real eye opener. I could...
My legs hurt in areas they've never hurt before! Hips and outer thighs fighting the suction of the mud.
You got a great time as runners seemed to be 30 mins to an hour off target pace. See you in 2025.
Only way to find out is to go for it. Bear in mind the NSC table shows lifetime PBs. Some are getting old and still hitting the heights. I haven't had a pb for 20 or 30 years.
Objectives, training plan, speed work, staying injury free and magic shoes if you don't have them.
You smashed my time by 30" @Greg Bobkin and a bloody good time you got in the quagmire.
Don't know why I did it after only running 180 miles since last summer but I finished! The conditions sapped me. Much easier when frozen Beast from the East year.
Great day and mental challenge. I walked up...
Good luck on getting sub 3 Forest row.
Training gone well for Sunday's Moyleman Downland Marathon.
My last tapered 10 mile Long Run on the flat really hurt as it was nearly twice my running distance this year. Luckily not many flat parts on the Moyleman.
Last Thursday I was offered a...
Glad you're ready!
I'm happy to know that even if I'm an hour behind you, you'll still be anxiously glancing behind whilst climbing Mt Caburn with both hands full of cakes from the generous Glynde villagers. 😂
