That's all well and good Bozza but the fact is that he's still getting paid for 9 months for doing nothing, and presumably we're going to have to hire a replacement to cover the period when Jewell is non-productive so it's a lose, lose for the club. We're unlikely ever to become a top six club...
Hold them to their contract. And if their performance drops off as a result, dock their salary and keep docking it until they perform again to the level that was expected of them when they were contacted in the first place. Sometimes, we're just too soft for our own good.
I'm getting heartily sick of Chelsea raiding our club and cherry picking our best players and members of staff. I know that everyone is available at the right pice but we're no longer a small club and it's about time that we started to act more like it.
