That Brickwoods Hollybush is a travesty! That is exactly the sort of pub I would go into just to see the decor......and have a couple! At least The Race hill was rebuilt as a pub then converted.

Those were those boats with the internal motors I was banging on about earlier, don't remember those dinky lights though. I said I could still smell them and you can see the smoke belching out!!

Not a bad replacement to the wonderful curved building, but no way as nice. Wasn't there a cafe called the Greasy Spoon nearby?

There was a boating lake further west past the King Alfred where the boat had internal engines not like those outboard looking ones. I can still smell the exhaust fumes! Unless of course my memory fails me.

At least they didn't cover the wonderful Brickwoods tiles, poss. listed? Many of their pubs in Gosport have colourful tiles.
