    That house is now in Hillbrow Road, Westdene. I know because I viewed it 30 odd years ago when I bought my current house. Those 'porthole' windows now look into the garage

    I did my time trying to spot Minxs, Gazelles etc as I clambered around the breakers yard at Pease Pottage, nicking bits to keep my Rapier on the road. Remember the rule 'If it fits in your toolbox, there's no charge'. No, couldn't find anything today mate :wink:

    I was confused but seeing yours and Jack Straw's pictures, I now remember the old flower market. It was a car park in it's later days and IIRC the frontage was still around, possibly into the 80's ?

    I think he did (or maybe another ?), but not until later. Pretty sure he was on Queen's road through 60s and 70s.
