They said that if evidence comes to light, they’d investigate it. Who knows, these things tend to escalate.

Asking for, and receiving indecent images of under 18’s is illegal. Paying £1000’s for them makes it worse as it’s coercion. The police obviously don’t have evidence at present, so best to let it run its course.
