What amazed me about Leeds yesterday was how simply moving a high press back into the middle of the park completely stopped them playing. Bielsa had no answer for it and there will now be a lot of managers looking at that and setting their teams up the same way.
Great for the neutrals but with defending like that Leeds are going to have to score at least 2 to win a game which is a recipe for disaster at this level
Twitter is loaded with Leeds fans posting clips of a Ben White mistake with plenty of ‘dodged a bullet’, ‘Brighton have ruined him blah blah blah’
What a ****ed up weird bunch of fans they are like some crazy rejected bunny boiler
He is a very good player but from what I have seen he works very hard (so very much a Bielsa player) and assists a few but not a prolific goal scorer which for €40m and a reported £100k a week seems a strange gamble for them.
It’s probably too early to say as it depends if they can pull a couple of transfer rabbits out of the hat. The issue they have is without white they are weaker at the back and you look at their front line and where are the goals going to come from?
In normal circumstances you could see a...
I think what I am enjoying the most about Leeds fans this summer is how they can take the smallest detail and spin it into something in another level
Bielsa is wearing the new tracksuit - no way is he leaving now
Ben Whites twitter profile still has a Leeds shirt on it - transfer request...
So a very long way of saying
- Bielsa made Ben White the player he is
- Leeds = massive Brighton are not
- Leeds have more fans than Brighton
- Brighton are punching above their weight
so really you have spent a very long time making pretty much the same deluded and disrespectful points that...
Behind all the bollocks this whole thing is simply Leeds fans just cannot and will not accept that a club like little Brighton can say no to the MIGHTY LEEDS
Our rejection is just the first of many little doses of reality they will be served up this season
It all sounds crazy almost like they clearly want him to sit down and get it over the line but are almost tip toeing around him in case they upset him and he strops off.
Bielsa was strongly rumoured to have a list of players that would need to be recruited for him to sign his deal. I am sure it is just purely coincidence that at the same point no significant signings have been made and clubs are refusing their offers that the manager has not signed.
No it must...
If he is on a path to be a top player and England International he is going to have to push to be good enough to play under different managers and unseat quality centre backs and the competition at a Brighton will push him on in his development. The fact he is an immediate starter in your...
