Jefferson Airplane Surrealistic Pillow was one of the first albums I bought and I was sold on the West Coast sound Instantly. Absolutely love the guitar and vocals from about 4 mins to the end

Pet shop boys singer is whose voice always reminds me of Al Stewart. Tony Blair used to be in a band didn’t he?

Unlike pretty well every other song I’ve heard over 1000 times I never tire of this one. Al paints such brilliant pictures through his lyrics.
