Achieved a first today; my first 2s in a row. Can I get the hat trick tomorrow?

A momentous day for me. I've just completed my second year of Wordle and a second 100% score. A streak of 730 is not to be sniffed at (bit disappointed with my 4 today though)

Was stuck on 3, had a break and checked on social media. One of the first things I saw was an ad with the word in it - easy peasy way to a 4

NYT seems to have automatically enrolled me - even though I said no. This has meant that my streak has gone back to 1. It should be on 663 :rant:

One thing that's never happened in Wordle (as far as I can see) is letters marked incorrectly ie one marked as grey when it should have been green or yellow (or vice versa). But it's just happened to me in French Wordle - for the second time in a month. I'm not sure how this could happen...

For the second day running I wavered between two starting words ... and for the second day running I chose one that didn't give me a bunch of letters. If I'd gone with my other choice today, I'd have had two greens on my first go ... as it was, I had one yellow and I scored a 5. C'est la vie

I've just reached my 100 streak since the forced NSC reset Wordle must be getting harder - my average for that 100 is 3.71; my average before the reset was 3.53 (oh, and I was a 3 today, that seems to be standard).

Yeah, I got three too. If you have a couple of greens second go, there aren't many words that fit ... even if it is an American spelling

Today's is going to be fun. I got it in 5, be shocked if there are many 2s or 3s

I'm not sure that today's is a proper word. I got a 5 simply because there were no other options but feel cheated

Damn ... one of those 50/50 moments and I chose the wrong one; a 5 for me today

I've thought about tricky words and what would fool most people. I reckon 'ousel' would be a tough one. (and I got a 3 today, pretty happy with that after a blank first go)

That's the longest I've ever taken - over an hour to get it. I got a 3 but it was a slog
