SA are 337-1 at tea. Thank God it's a dodgy pitch, where would England be if it had been a good wicket? :)

It's all right Fatboy, I went for coffee between innings :)

The rot's started. Bet we'll be all out for under 200.

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

Surrey have a really strong tail - we're not the first side they've scored a shedload of runs against.

I was there on Weds. Unfortunately I had to be at work today - although I'm spending a little too much time looking at scores. I'll take time off for the Lancs game...see them giving your boys a bit of a beating :) I'm too old for red shoes :(

Yesss...Ramps has gone. Bowling, bowling Kirtley

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

Yet again, Surrey's second five have put on more runs than the first five - their tail has been in awesome form this year.

Don't rule Surrey out of this - they should manage to save the follow-on now - their tail has been awesome this season, but we should have a first innings lead. Personally, before the match I'd have been happy with a draw if we could have earned a couple more points than they did - after the...

116-5 for now. Bowling, bowling Mushy.

I really wanted to go today but I had a meeting in the morning and I have to go to the theatre this evening to see some bloke get a poker shoved up his arse. I would only have got about an hour or so at the cricket..wouldn't have been worth it.

Excellent. Just went to the cafe for a coffee and came back to find another wicket had gone - it always worked at the county ground too. That's two wickets to me. :)

Hahahaha...works every time:) Well bowled Tucker.

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

74-2 now, these two are looking ominously well set. Bet they both get centuries :(

BTW, Robert the Pieman made a massive four runs for Kent. More amazingly, Ed Smith didn't make a ton.

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

This is the vital partnership to break now. These are Surrey's best batsmen by some way.

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

    19-0 - what's going on? We're being smacked around

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

The rain should have given Kirters time to get down from Lord's anyway. Any news on when it's going to start?
  18. G

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

What's going on? My Ananova destop score was 374-7, then it went back to 373. How did we lose a run?

    Sussex v Surrey @ Hove

Serves me right for slagging off the pieman earlier. That was sod's law. Come on - we've got to get that fifth point.

I was there all day (well nearly) and a fine day it was. Grizzly batted really well and didn't look in any trouble at all. As Lord B says, both Ambrose and Tucker looked in a bit of trouble against the spinners - Salisbury in particular was spinning it a lot: a good sign for Mushy. Let's hope...
