Im sure I remember RDZ saying that he wants his players to train at 100% which was new to them - can't remember where now. Whatever the reason - and the likelihood is its a combination of various factors including bad luck - we could really do with a quieter treatment table next season.
I agree. It is looking more and more like there is a training issue of some sort as it's getting slightly ridiculous now. I assume no one asked about Solly's return today as there was talk of him being back before the end of the season and another poster has hinted that he may not play for us...
At the end of this one. I take it perhaps to mean he may be eased back to the bench for Liverpool and hopefully ready to play for the following games but I'm reading a lot into that. I guess they will see how he goes for the next couple of weeks. Hopefully he doesn't break down again.
I enjoyed watching RDZs shoulders slowly slumping inane question after inane question. By the end I think the withering looks he was giving some Italian journalists probably turned them to dust.
To be honest, watching the press conference, he just wasn't asked about injuries in general so he didn't mention it, probably not deliberately. He was specifically asked about Pedro so answered that. Without knowing I imagine someone at the embargoed section simply asked about other injuries and...
So basically he heard first or second hand from the embargoed section of the press conference but broke the embargo. Gotta be first with the news - all about the hits
It can just be luck. Just the way it goes. We've had a few seasons relatively injury free so we were probably due a bad one. The fact that we have done so well is testament to RDZ and the remaining players.
