Cost a lot more money if you go up a level annd want to be competitive. Apparently Hassocks had no intention of getting promoted this year. And if you finish top or win the play-offs and refuse to go up then you can get hit with heavy sanctions by the Sussex FA. Makes a bit of a mockery of it...
Apparently the National FA were happy to let them off, but the County FA have been really difficult about it. It's about international clearance from a player that was playing in Ireland. There was a hearing on Sunday about it, but I'm not sure what the outcome was. Looks like they've been...
How long before we hear what happens to Haywards Heath Town?
They are a funny club. It's my local team and I go there fairly often, but I have to say I've never really taken to them. Their group of 'ultras' behind the goal are quite annoying. They do make a decent amount of noise for a club at...

Yeah I agree. In the unlikely event Bloom sold out to an Arab State or something, I've always said I'd go and watch non-league football instead, and Lewes definitely seems to be the best option.
Heard some whisperings yesterday morning about tomorrow night's rearranged cup semi-final between Haywards Heath and Steyning. Apparently one of Heath's players was cup tied, but played in a previous round for them. Then yesterday afternoon Heath put out a Tweet saying the game is postponed...
