Intestine points of view. Although Newhaven’s revenue will be a lot higher than most others at that level due to the 4G pitch they’ve got, which rakes in money. So not sure being promoted would be any real strain financially

So are you suggesting they are purposefully telling players / managers to lose a few games?

Have to start to raise questions. They just miss out every year. No bottle?

1k+ per week, a few teams I’ve heard floating around that. Teams like Newhaven and Steyning are starting to see the fruits of having the 4G pitches which they obviously make good money hiring out. Newhaven for a fact used to pay £10 per point but they’ve definitely got a budget now and players...

It’s quite a strange league. It’s almost 2 leagues. The top 9 down to Peacehaven are all a decent standard. But the standard of the teams from 10th to 20th is pretty poor and not too dissimilar to the league below. You don’t seem to get many of the bottom half teams beating the top half teams...

I agree may be too late for the Eastbourne teams but wouldn’t write of Haywards Heath just yet. They have 2 games in hand over Steyning and Hassocks and a game in hand on both Crowborough and Newhaven. They also still have Newhaven and Hassocks to play… They’ve already beaten Hassocks in the...

Might be related to the fact that Evan Ferguson’s girlfriend is the assistant managers daughter

One really underrated one for me is Roffey. The ‘Theatre of trees’ they call it (on the sign as you go in). The pitch is totally surrounded by high rise forest which looks quite unique. Bruno Fernandes’ brother is also their captain and so he has put £100k into the club, so the bar...

Great idea and review but can’t help thinking you’ve set the bar for yourself abit high for the rest of the year now by choosing a conference south match day experience first! I eagerly await your review of Mile Oak for example!😂

Have heard a rumour all the money has gone. A few players have left. Shame as they used to be a really decent side under the previous manager

Killed probs wrong word. What I mean is clearly there is players the manager wants but the club can’t meet their demands, and are being beaten to by others. Most teams have a 12th man fund, I understand that. But most teams don’t announce European tours, pay their women equal pay to the first...

And yesterday they put a statement out asking for donations to the players budget. Their insistence on equal pay for men and women’s teams despite the disparity in revenue is what’s killing them. Signing some of the best players at that level, players who should be playing higher and then...
