Cane sugar is sucrose, which quickly breaks down into glucose in your body.
That's the thing with carbs, they all end up as glucose, it just depends how quickly it happens.
Stick with the no sugar. I did it years ago, makes a big difference if you drink a lot of tea.
It took me about two weeks to get used to it, tea with sugar now tastes rank.
