That depends on what he actually wants. Everyone assumes he wants like for like Mac Allister and Caicedo replacements and views the clubs business through that lens but maybe he has something different in mind? Maybe he doesn’t want to replace them? We don’t actually know what he wants.

Unless he’s somewhere like Man City or Chelsea then he’d better get used to that. There aren’t that many clubs who can afford to just go out and buy what the manager wants. Look at Arsenal for example, they need a striker but with FFP probably can’t afford to get one.
