And yet loads of people rave about GNev as a pundit and think he's the best of the bunch.
But yeah, let's go with the opinion of the convicted gobshite with a permanent chip on his shoulder, shall we? :lolol:
Is 'to silence' the new 'to cancel', then?
I don't think anyone is trying to do either. He's obviously entitled to his views and there are a certain section of society who agree with him. The difference is, the extremity and continual bombardment of the same point(s) leads people to react. And...
His constant frothing has bored me now. How can one person be THAT angry about so many things at once? Also, there's a limited number of ways you can make the same point before you start to come across as an bitter, attention-seeking, insufferable bellend.
No wonder he needs a holiday!
This is the overriding problem(?) with the whole debate, which has seemingly sprung up out of nowhere: it's all subjective. Between just two posters, you've given your personal preferences, while also indicating that others will not share the same view. Therefore, there are not 'bad'...
Two things about Barton:
1) He moans about people labeling him right-wing, but calls out literally everyone who disagrees with him as 'woke', 'lefty' it some other generalised tag.
2) If he (or anyone else, for that matter) doesn't like female pundits/presenters, just turn it off, because...
Not sure he's doing anything to be 'cancelled' from. He'll have his little podcast, which will still appeal to a certain section of society, so I'm sure he'll be OK in that little echo chamber.
I haven't changed my opnion from post #204, but I'm not ruling out some sort of mental health crisis (even though he's been shown to be a complete berk on many occasions over the years.
He's started on Gary Neville, too.
It's all the fault of the Tofu-eating wokerati, I tell you! None of this would've happened if MEN were still MEN.
KS (and RB) got recognised (quite rightly) at last year's event for his/their achievements, but I completely agree – they didn't need to be, nor did they probably expect to be...
He really is an odd individual, with a lot of hate to deal with.
I've just had a gander at his latest SPOTY-related meltdown, courtesy of numerous tweets (having previously gone after Alex(c) Scott for promoting her book) and I really don't get what he's trying to say or achieve. I'm also not...
I thought of him yesterday when I heard the announcement about the female referee taking charge in the PL game. In fact, I'm surprised he actually made it to the game last night because I thought his head might've exploded because, to him, that decision would've meant football had gone truly WOKE!
I know the men's and women's games are classed as 'different', but it's still football, regardless of who is playing and who is talking about it. The fundamentals, tactics, skills and everything else are not exactly poles apart, so why is this stroker frothing about it?
Michael Johnson is an...
