….that £40m or whatever it is might well become much more the ‘new normal’ for top rated players as things stand (pending any Super League set up anyway), so potentially bringing the ‘big’ clubs closer to our levels of spending.

….but clubs don’t/won’t have the money. Even Chelsea are reportedly needing to find 100m to avoid FFP breaches in the next window before they think about spending anything.

We’re miles ahead of the game though…….thriving academy and big stock or promising youngsters, plus a demonstrable and proven pathway to first team football.

Loads of them do, given the proximity. Failing that, the Argies (and all the other Latino countries) and Brasilieros converse in ‘Portuñol’, which is a hybrid of the two……….
