But he got sold to Chelsea, who massively overpaid for him, just to get him (Liverpool's offer of £100m was accepted!). Even at his peak, he wasn't worth that much. As good as Joao Pedro is, I can't see him going for far north of £100m (maybe/probably not that much). Plus things change so...

I've been critical of his first touch before, but today it was outstanding, I thought. A great game and his celebration was one of my favourite Amex moments.

There's a LOT to love about him – he's certainly come a long way since he stepped onto the pitch at half time during the Everton massacre! The one thing that lets him down a bit, for me, is his first touch. More often than not, it's not great and the ball ends up miles away from him – sometimes...

To be fair to Fergie, he's only scored one goal fewer than JP, has been injured/ill (cant remember which) and looked sensational against the barcodes. It's all about game management with both of them.
