FFS. Why did it have to be the Rangers?

Went to see the Blue Jays claim a much needed victory over the Yankees last night with 7 fellow Albion fans. We still haven't quite secured a Wildcard spot but a win tonight along with the Rangers beating the Mariners and I think we're in.

This has always been ridiculous but I've just realised the Wild Card format has changed this season. Only the top two divisional winners get a bye to the Division Series. The third divisional winner goes into a 4 team Wild Card round with the three best other teams, to decide the other 2 spots...

I'm quietly confident about the Jays making another push for the playoffs this season. I still haven't got over the SHAMBLES of thowing away an 8-1 lead to lose the Wildcard series last year.
