Can we realistically be hit though? I’m assuming these things have a certain distance they can travel? And presumably we have some kind of defence in place to (have no idea what I’m talking about) intercept any genuine threat?
Is anyone else worried about Russia appearing to single out the UK above anyone else in terms of him doing something nuts? Is there anything he can actual do?
If this figure of 4500 Russian fatalities is anywhere near true it’s absolutely staggering. IIRC 7000 US soldiers died in Iraq and Afghanistan in the nearly twenty years of those wars.
I know it’s more nuanced than this but it seems the world is just going to watch as troops stroll into Kiev and effectively take control of another country unopposed.
