Are you that much in love with the Conservatives that you wouldn't countenance a change? Despite the recent shit-show and the obvious failings over the last few terms?
What in God's name hold do they have over you, that you want to see them elected again?
In all honesty, it's almost impossible to do that, given the incredibly poor standard of the candidates on offer. It's like trying to debate whether a rock or a hard place is preferable - meaningless, really.
The time for (hopefully) sensible discussions will come when the next GE is announced...
Surely you can see she's trying to 'walk the Thatch', in an attempt to give her some kind of gravitas?
Aside from all that, she doesn't half talk a load of bollocks, which, to be fair, most of them do.
And in response to your claim, this was posted, which you seemed to have ignored:
"Here again is what Mogg said of Liz Truss:
'I think she (Liz Truss) is as strong a Brexiteer as either of us. And that is really important".
I'd still like to see this 'bigger picture', too.
Tbh, they should have been disappointing for you, too, or do you think it's all gone so well? :)
I still want to know about this 'bigger picture' that you say some of us are missing.
The vote is over but the issue and ongoing effects are not. I'm still uncertain as to this 'bigger picture' you mentioned - was that it? That 'Brexit is over'?
