Kicked off 5:45 in BN43 . . . A few very close loud ones, so I got up at 6 and went for a run, well, stagger. f***ing hammered down for a while. A few inches in various receptacles in the garden, maybe even enough to fill the cracks on the allotment
I dont wish to get political, but I emailed my local councillor today, about the prospect of replacing lost trees in the road, which drink lots of rain, provide shade etc. . I think the benefits are well documented. . . . We've had 2 more cut down this week and one fell today, they're old . . ...
Mrs Zef did a few rain dances last night, we had a few showers, she then gave up and went round to the allotment to water . . .
never seems to rain hard enough to get the inside of the greenhouse wet. Thankfully. filling the water butts up would be good though
rumblings and monsoon rain in BN43, didn't see any flashers . . . . Eased off now, but the whole road was flooded for a while, hopefully topped up the water butts . . .and washed the cars!
best storm I've ever seen was in Cincinatti, had a long view from my hotel room, proper biblical show.
slight haze when I set out at 7 this morning, burnt off already and sunny in Chi. Another warm one and no sign of any change.
