Similar feelings here. I was obviously looking forward to this series given it's in Canada but going to the remote places has made it difficult for them to engineer a race out of it. It does highlight the lack of public transport across most of Canada!
I think next week's episode could be a bit...
Yes, they're obviously hitting some fairly remote places. They might get lucky with buses in some areas and train coverage is very limited (and expensive) so I do see them doing a lot of hitch-hiking. That budget really isn't going to get them far. Not much is cheap in Canada, especially food...
Looking forward to this too. Probably a slightly different view of Canada to the one I get!
Hopefully there's at least one awful couple on it. That's what makes it.
Yes, they did mention each team had a doctor travelling with them. I assumed one camera operator would have to travel with them on each bus journey and I guess the rest of the support team would be in a van following behind. They would probably need quite a few people and a lot of equipment...
I really enjoyed it. I was a bit sceptical about watching this series because I found I didn't like any of the couples in the first series, especially the slightly cocky old Yorkshire couple who won it. This had a much better set of contestants though and I knew they'd be travelling through...
