Two weeks in, all ok went around 7 months last year apart from tastings, which I have to do in my job. Easier on furlough as not at the brewery. Got a house full of free beer though. Going to drink next in April on my birthday
There's no articles I know of but am aware of certain discussions as we are launching another alcohol free product (watch this space G----H) and there's the compliance issue post brexit and labelling etc.
I can't currently say anymore but as it becomes more public I will. Suffice to say...
I think the issue for lots of people is that their social being, is around others in pubs. Each agree (or happen) to meet regularly where upon they engage in the same routine. Don't totally appreciate the amount they are consuming but readily comment about the local pisshead who comes in on a...
Interesting and I stand corrected however within the article it states what is alcohol free.
A typical brewers beer (for the workers) used to be around 1.5% which they traditionally would have had 8 pint a day allowance, 1 pint a hour.

Same as in England/Wales.
Not law but can be considered misleading under guidelines from TS.
The relevance to it (i'm not really bothered myself), is that a friend had a...

Mainly it's due to the tax levy, as 0.5% will not get you over the limit as you body will process it before it takes affect. It does make a difference to people intolerant to alcohol.
The...

They are not alcohol free beers
Alcohol-free beer = no more than 0.05% ABV
De-alcoholised beer = no more than 0.5% ABV
Low-alcohol beer = no more than 1.2% ABV
Alcoholic beer = contains more than 1.2% ABV
You will see on the board a number...
You have answered most of the points yourself.
Yes alcohol to some can become , a reliance, a dependency or addiction. To the vast majority though it’s an enjoyable social experience. While there’s some that still go out to get pissed the trend now is the experience. Premium drinking is now how...
I’m neither ignorant or arrogant on the subject, given I’ve owned four pubs and now am a quality manager for a major brewery. Of course I have a vested interest but the statements you made are without any substance.
Expand the argument to true reasoning and you’ll find I will engage fully and...
