Form a football perspective, my biggest fear is Bloom leaving. Palace barely register outside of the two games we play most seasons, if I'm really honest.
Considering their end was half empty going into the 40th minute and the silence from the north was only breached once for Mateta's goal (and barely at that given that there were only about 10 fans left), the fact that they see themselves as "the best fans in the league" really is a laugh.
When...
That's the same contingent who were all over our team news vs United with "We're going to win 5-0", Fernandes is going to cook this team" etc etc. So, so, tiresome
Yeah I agree. If (and it's still an "if") they keep Olise, I actually think they're a better team without Zaha. He's getting on and Eze and Olise are both better players when he's not playing because they don't always have to pass to the talisman.
If they have both Olise and Eze next season...
I think Chelsea's academy was never really there as a pathway to the first team (at Chelsea anyway). It's a money making machine, so I guess it'll be telling what the impact of the new loan restrictions have on player hoarding. The interesting thing is that Chelsea's youngsters often go on to...
Very good point. To be honest, Palace are in a FAR better place now than under Hodgson and Vieira has done a good job in his first season. There's nothing wrong in admitting that Palace are moving in the right direction after years or colossal mis-steps, but I genuinely believe that we're in a...
On the Chelsea front, it amazing that, given Palace's amazing academy, their two best players are a) a Chelsea academy product bought for a substantial fee and b) a Chelsea academy product on a season-long loan deal.
Ah fair enough, must have been an old article I read. Should be a decent game though. Of late, I have to say Palace look slightly more coherent without Zaha as they don't now seem to be waiting for him and him alone to make something happen. Looking forward to it
That may well be so, but at least it means this they won't get his inevitable goal against us next Friday, they'll need to find it from elsewhere. Kouyate and Ayew will be big misses for them too, Jeff Schlupp less so, but we'll miss Bissouma so it'll be interesting to see how it all goes.

Is that the distant sound of fate being tempted? Why yes... I think it is... Cue a 2-0 defeat full of Brighton dominance and missed opportunities. Thanks Tim...
