While I'm enjoying looking at the current league table and my Palace mates having a sore neck while looking over their shoulders, let's be honest draws at West Ham and City away highlights they are good enough to stay up. They should have got a point at Chelsea.
Roy has them organised, they...
Palace fan's I know don't care about the age thing they just feel that Roy is the right man for the job.
You can't argue that he did a good job for the last ten games, probably does deserve the job full time.
Back to Zaha, no disputing he's a good player and would be a welcome addition to most club's.
I think one concern is fitness, the last couple of seasons he's picked up injuries and started missing a few games. Would he be a gamble for a long term contract missing say ten games per season.
Happy to be corrected but wasn't it the American's money which was ring fenced for the ground improvements?
I presume they would want their original investment back or would they write it off.
At the end of the season how many players will you have out of contract? Also you will lose your annual Chelsea loan player, very slowly I'd say with no long term strategy.
Once again you will have to sell to buy.
5 Live last night talking about Palace's start and immediate fixtures, the change of style and tactics and how long will the board back Paddy if they find themselves adrift. Bizarrely saying that Paddy isn't Roy and how ingrained Roy was on the squad.
A poor start will build the pressure on the manager and players and hopefully the fans will be despondent.
It's always hard playing catch up you would rather have points on the board early. That said they have a habit of starting poorly LLLLLLL...
Just been speaking to a Palace STH he is fully expecting a few more signings before the window closes. He seems to think the money is in place to further splash the cash.
Train home last night changed at East Croydon the Palace fans I meet weren't that impressed with the performance. In my local one fan said he left just after half time at Chelsea away as the performance was so disjointed but a positive was it was an improvement against Brentford but looked weak...
I thought Cooper had stated a desire to get Swansea promoted "third time lucky". Nuno wanted to bring too many backroom staff and his demands were too great. Dyche has agreed budgets, ect with the American owners and is staying put at Burnley.
Rumour was John Terry was interviewed yesterday...
The word on the streets of East Surrey yesterday was that John Terry was being interviewed for the vacancy.
Just a rumour probably, sure someone said it was mentioned on Talksport.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Can we have a poll to ban SE20, his contribution to NSC is simply to provoke trouble and cause friction with fellow posters.
Several Palace fans on the board add to conversation but not SE20, please just kick him off (that's my vote cast already).
Read that Palace have about a dozen players with less than six months left on contracts. Several of these players are part of the old brigade with little sell on value but in the main on big money contracts. Tough few months ahead for Parrish does he renew aged players contracts or get rid and...
I know a few from East Surrey who hate the whole Ultras thing and have given up season tickets a couple go to Crawley and a few now attend non league going to Bromley, Dulwich Hamlet and Whyteleafe.
So not all like the Ultra experience.
So we need four points you could ask the same question of your lot gaining nine points.
Either way your remaining fixtures could keep us up, oh the irony.
