I haven't always agreed with Heseltine, but a principled, honest, long standing and senior member of the Conservative Party openly admitting to how this current dishonest, incompetent egotistical and narcissistic cabal have taken over his party in the last few years
8 years after the vote, over 4 years since we 'Got Brexit Done', we appear to still be continuingly shooting ourselves in both feet on a regular basis :shootself

Easy Tiger, one step at a time. Joining the largest Economic Customs Union in the world that sits right on our doorstep should be the first stage and will have the biggest positive impact on Britain's failing economy. When that is achieved, maybe we can then start to look at joining the EU and...
One of the main factors (together with the associated increase in the use of courtesy cars) behind the massive leap in car insurance that everybody seems surprised by
But onwards we charge :dunce:
Or we could have used our position as the second most powerful member of the largest trading bloc in the world and negotiated not to take on "an ever closer union" when we decided it wasn't beneficial to Britain. Just like the way we had opt outs for Schengen, the Euro, the Charter of...
Donald Tusk claims Poles will be richer than Brits by 2029 as ‘it’s better to be in the EU’
World Bank forecasts show GDP per capita in Poland is on track to overtake UK by 2030
Donald Tusk, the former president of the European Council, claimed forecasts show Poland is on track to have a higher...
This pathetic Government will be the one who got elected primarily on the basis of 'getting Brexit done' :lolol:
It's obviously passed you by that the reason this thread has been bounced is because inflation is about to be hit yet again because of the new Brexit import rules bought in...
To be fair, self interest was always the major factor in Brexit. The self interest of Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and some others political self interest, together with some serious financial backing from disaster capitalists and their funders' self interests versus the self interest of the rest...
Another huge leap forward into the sunny uplands as we finally 'Take Back Control'
‘Horrendous and chaotic’ border checks will increase food prices, ministers hear

And this totally predictable farce continues. You would have thought somebody may have pointed out years ago all the infrastructure, systems and staffing that would be required in order to implement the border controls that the EU implemented day one wouldn't you
But while this thread...
I still remember David Davis turning up to negotiate Brexit with the EU with a brainless smile and f*** all else
Just imagine what could happen if we finally got some adults in charge.
And the extra money from all this new business was going to pay for the 100,000 extra civil servants that we have employed as a direct result of Brexit
Civil service nearly 100k bigger since Brexit but 'no clear vision' of policy, report warns...
The farce continues to get worse daily, with the Government throwing ever increasing amounts of money at it

But this is the whole point. @Simster thinks I constantly go on about it. but that's because it is getting worse on a daily basis and has to be addressed despite his somewhat limited expletives and subsequent anger. If he's going to let this continue on a daily basis without comment, he may as...
At the end of the day, after everybody else has had their say and run away, or had their little expletive ridden temper tantrums, we all know that it will be left to the grown ups to actually deal with what is staring us in the face and address the daily issues that are crashing our economy...
I can't imagine why anyone would want to hide what they voted, but you do know of the issue with people publicly saying one thing and privately doing another ?
There's even a term for it
I agree completely with the principal of the Brexit thread keeping all discussion in one place, but it hasn't been possible to run a poll (or litmus test) on anything that could be related to any aspect of the referendum for some years now
Maybe it's too soon :lolol:
Unfortunately each time a poll is merged into the Brexit thread, it 'deletes' the poll question and results automatically. And I'm exceedingly disappointed to discover NSC polls aren't legally binding on the Government or Economy, as it would undoubtedly make Britain a far better place.
I...
