Judging by the fact it has been ignored for a few weeks on their forum I don't think us non premium players are that high on the agenda.
It is a good game, just a shame it has to be so complicated!
I've gone for...
4 Italians
1 French
1 Norwegian
1 Russian
and I bet you can't guess these two
1 Swiss
1 Slovakian
If there is a bunch sprint I will be last in the NSC table, going for a breakaway of 4 to 5 surviving and a few Italians to round out the top 10.
A much more exciting finish without the Sky train setting the tempo chasing the leaders down. Actually think Froome did well to catch back on to the group he finished with on a stage that doesn't really suit him. Great ride by Nibali on that descent.
Respect to Taylor Phinney who was the only...
Why thank you, my first NSC Fantasy Cycling Tour win
Nice to see they now have an overall table excluding the Premium races and NSC has 3 in the top 35!
Major recovery up to third today. Had 1, 2 and a couple just outside the top ten. Got 4 transfers to make too. Time to transfer the top GC guys in and ignore the potential sprint finish tomorrow possibly?
2nd place for the second competition in a row, will be happy if I can keep that up all season. Without all the premium users who have more points due to the Tour Med Pantani is 4th place in the overall standings, top work! :clap2::clap2:
Tour of Oman might be a bit more interesting as it has...
Top of the league for the first time ever, not sure it will last long.
I may have an slight advantage in that I have watched every stage so far, being on night shifts does have its advantages sometimes.
I'm enjoying the freedom of selection although I only have 2 Aussies in my team at the moment. I'm hoping a few of the 3rd rate sprinters are up for getting a few WT points in the bag early.
I've picked JTL in my team and not Froome, so maybe that shows how confident I am in my prediction. Just got a feeling that was why he pulled out of the ITT, with Wiggo recovering from his stomach bug and JTL relatively unproven.
It is so unpredictable I was struggling to decide who to go for. In the end I picked my team in about a minute and am going to stick with what I have barring any riders pulling out at the last minute.
I'm intrigued as to what GB's tactics will be and who they are going to be riding for...
