Ah - in that case then obviously not a SB. I'll have to look what it is this calendar year - it won't be anywhere near 23 that's for sure! I've got considerably slower in the past 12 months and still trying to regain some speed whilst overcoming my advancing years. I am hoping to get enough...
TBH I am not sure how you are defining SB, if you mean this season then no as that PB was about 4 years ago but if it's the best SB ever then yes. Does that make sense?
I pop in and out of this thread and sadly I missed the posts on the parkrun meet-up on Saturday. But I would like my stats to be added if possible:
5K PB - 23:33
10K - 53.28
10M - 1:31:16
Half - 2:08:32
Marathon - 4:52:49
50k - 7:11:43
50 mile - 11:22:16
Many thanks - and if anyone is ever at...
Managed a solo Mouth To Mouth, RED 10k in July and a LEJOG virtual event. I also suffered some knee problems for most of the year so overall pretty happy.
Popping in to see how ppl are doing and well impressed. Doing 10K a day myself this month at my sloth pace of 50-60 mins. Beat the Tide tomorrow - wearing number 10...
Just popping by to say hi. Looks like people are staying pretty motivated. I did the Centurion virtual 100 miles in a week event in November which was a proper challenge. I decided to raise some cash for the RNLI and so ran from my local station in Littlehampton to Shoreham in the middle of...
Just checking in on the running thread and looks like everyone has been very active. I managed my first marathon distance just before my birthday in May - essentially the Arun River Marathon up to Rackham Hill and back - and I have run at least 5K every day through June so far, in fact 10K...
I am going to Jon Hopkins at the Dome tonight which I suspect will be the last gig for a while....
As for running. I can now do 10k without needing to take water, although that may change as the weather warms up, but anything over that I wear my running vest and take a least one bottle of...
Thanks for the welcome.
Always used to do a bit of light running (<5k) when I was playing football but stopped playing around two years ago. Been trying to got into running more regularly ever since but not really managed it until around August/September last year. I started going to my local...
As a relatively new regular runner, I've not really taken much notice of this thread before but with no football I think it might be the next best reason for visiting NSC. Can I join the table?
I probably will (got to really as I live on the route). I am a pretty casual runner but just done the Arundel 10k and getting regular at the LA seafront Park Run. I think entries close on the 4th...
