I'm seriously bricking it too, feel physically sick, can't sleep and the injury twinges everytime I even think of Sunday, and we're supposed to be doing this for fun? Great effort with the sponsorship Edna, I too am running for H4H but only have about £800.
Good luck everyone
Good luck everyone running this weekend (including me!). If you're not running please come and cheer us all on it really does give us a boost. I'm running in a Help For Heroes vest number 9490
I'm still suffering with tibialis posterior tendinopathy, but after all this bloody effort I'm going to turn up and do it. It's wrecked my time, but what's the worse than can happen...I walk a bit. I just want that damn medal after all the pain, sweat, winter evening runs and physio...
3 weeks before and I get tibialis posterior tendinopathy, a form of shin splints. Ordered to rest and make sure I'm there on the day than try and train and not be, going to ruin my 4:30 target though. Absolutely gutted, but after all this bloody hard work I'll walk it if I have to just to get...
Real tough luck that Robbie, it could still happen to any of us yet. With the training I've been doing it feels like my body is a highly tuned mechanical machine, but I know one slip here or there and it would be easy to pull it all out of line.
Why not still come down and shout the others on?
