FIFA / UEFA have banned these long term contracts for FFP reasons. I believe, whilst a contract can be 8 years, the finance can only be offset in the accounts for 5 years.
My prediction
Fury gets bashed about and is so obviously the loser but is given the win on points.
Rematch called for and given for December this year.
If it's anything like the last Fury fight this has to be the result, so fixed.
Lots of scenarios.
We win then we finish above of Palace and I collect my bet.
Palace don't win we finsh above them regardless of our result, and I collect my bet
Palace win, we draw. Both on 49 pts
Goes to GD. If we draw and Palce win by 1 then it's level so it goes to
Goals scored...
POP3. It's the main computer. Phone has IMAP so I see emails but not downloaded. Been ongoing for a while. I think laptop shuts down to update apps and happens then.
Thanks for the interest.
Laptop is about 3 years running Windows 11. I copy all old emails over from old computers.
I've lots of folders. Basically I search the 'windowslivemail' folder which has 35 folders. These folders then contain further folders ,all containing emails, around 32,000 I...
Sadly he may have gone the way of Ian 'Spider' Mellor regarding fan popularity, or at least how many fans still remember him.
Love to have gone but busy Saturday.
Still anoyed at Spider getting a minor mention 20 minutes before KO rather than any applause.
Controversial as it is, I don't think...
No one will replace BG. Retirement means I've nothing better to do than watch NSC all day. Meanwhile, losing all my emails, especially when it's for business, is very annoying.
Sorry for posting another thread.
Using windows live mail on laptop.
Every time I shut down the laptop all my emails disappear. On restarting it states it cant find the folder with the emails and so starts with zero emails, neither inbox or sent.
Searching through I find the emails, 10000's of...
I haven't seen the full game replay yet, but substitutions were being made and players were ready to come on. I think they may have been changed before the ref was made aware of the VAR looking into the incident.
For 50+ years I've dreamt of playing in Europe. Yes, we've had the odd 'one off' games or spells to remember. 1979 at Newcastle (OK I don't remember much about that weekend). But 2023/24 will go down as the greatest season ever for me as a supporter.
More technical rather than the incompetence of the ref v Chelsea.
A foul is commited but unseen by either the ref, lino or 4th official, despite being right in front of all three. Simultaneously a substitution is being made and, by chance, the player who commited the foul is taken off, he was...
East Upper we had a few. Huge guy 2 seats from me, would give Tyson a good go on Saturday. Sat all match on his hands. Still annoying when trying to sing and all around are saying nothing. Had a paper ticket, wonder from whom?
So TNT have the Arsenal game, wow. I wonder how they arranged that. Deal must have been second pick on last day. Sky have the City game, I wonder if they can cross to Arsenal and show any goals as they normally would? Still not bothered as my eyes are on the United thrashing at the end of season...
I used to keep all the Albion features from The Argus in the late 70' early 80's along with copies of Sounds (music paper). I think they are boxed up in the loft somewhere unless the mice have got to them. Maybe dig them all out soon.
For those interested, I've every copy of a mag caled DJ &...
No, not a real story and hopefully it won't happen. But I bet Sky have looked into it.
These two games have no other meaning in the league other than positions. It would have been nice to watch in the concourse pre United, instead I'll depend on others giving me updates.
Agree with England Spain, also with my Granddaughter & Daughter.
The SA v Japan rugby was loud.
But personally Man City in lockdown. Lucky to be there, lost my mind, lost my voice, on the phone to my mum as that winning goal went in. That is my best game.
From there the list is endless with...
I mentioned this on the Crawley thread.
BBC Radio commentator turned up for the postponed match last week. Parked up and went into the stadium. Couldn't work out why no one there.
True story he admitted to live next day.
