2 of those empty seats are mine. I promised my sister I'd watch my nephew in a medieval reenactment bollox and my ST tickets didn't sell. As Pedro scored the rebound, me and my son cheered loudly as I was watching on Sky Go just at the point a history nerd was giving it something about King John in the amphitheatre. I got multiple dirty looks including my mum.

Sometimes it's actually better than being there. I certainly won't forget it.

I don't really care about the empty seats, game might have been crap on TV but I enjoyed it, first time I had seen us beat them and I stayed to clap the players off and didn't have to queue long for the train, perfect day

I dressed up last Halloween as an empty seat. then somebody said I look like the amex.

actually in my area they said I look like a section of guaranteed rate field home of the Chicago White Sox.

I just find it funny, all these people who were convinced we’d lose, and guess what we won. If you had a prior engagement, fair enough, but the people who genuinely could not be arsed, F*CK YOU.

From my seat the majority of the West Upper was full and also the North End of the West Lower. I didn't think there were too many vacant seats in the North but the most empty seats were in the East Stand where unfortunately it will look worse because it's opposite the cameras. But it doesn't really matter, people have lives outside football

Bank holiday weekend. Rearranged fixture.

Some people found the couldn't go.

There were some empty seats.

It isn't a conspiracy.

Must have been all the same people turned up for yesterday's game as did for the last one against Man. City as incredibly the attendance declared for both games was 31596!! What are odds of that happening?

Too many season ticket holders in the West Upper. Including myself.
I wonder why the club shelved the slight shift of away fans to the South East corner a few years ago? Was it because champ clubs failed to fill it so it looked bad of the cameras? That wouldn't be problem in the prem and would mean we get half of the South.

Yep, me too. 85 minutes door to door, beating my previous record by 15. Unlike the previous day at roughly the same time, when it took me 85 minutes to get to the Wisley interchange before heading off to that day’s destination.

Our friends invited us to lunch along with a few others for the Sunday, but we had just heard the game had moved due to Villa playing in Europe, so when replying I explained why.
They hadn’t realised, but because the husband and daughter are sth, were to change it to today.
I’m sure quite a few others were in the same situation.

Having a few health issues and didn't fancy driving 2 hours each way. Long story but even the thought of it stresses me out.

Did have my ticket on the exchange but it didn't sell. First time in a while it hasn't sold?

Hopefully I'll be able to go to the last game though, I really want to.

He's gradually sorting himself out, but he wasn't at the King John gig, he was slotting in a mini-break in Rotterdam.

I have depression and other mental health issues. Football makes thing a lot worse as can be shown on here on match days. I find it easier to manage when I am at home and have distractions. I will not be going until the end of the season for these reasons. Me and my therapist will then look into next season game by game. Football isn't as important as my mental health.
